Advanced Research in Conservation Science (ARCS) is an open access international journal. It is issued by the University of Cairo, Faculty of Archaeology, Conservation department, Giza, Egypt. It is a peer-reviewed journal with interdisciplinary activity. It is published two times per year; one volume with two issues. The first issue is published in June and the second issue is published in December. This journal uses a double-blind review. The journal deals with the role of science branches: Chemistry, physics, geology, biology, geochemistry, engineering in conservation, preservation, and protection of organic, inorganic, and architectural cultural heritage. It concerns with archaeometry, archaeochemistry, geoarchaeology, geochemiarchaeology, bioarchaeology, architectural archaeology, archaeochronology, archaeometallurgy, and authentication of archaeological materials. It focuses on novel nondestructive analytical methods, advanced dating methodologies, characterization of recent materials for inhibition of microbial growth, consolidation, preservation, and protection of cultural heritage.
